We had a wonderful stay at a hotel close to the center with free guest card access to boat and bus rides. the location was perfect, right by the lake, and the staff were incredibly helpful. the rooms were spacious and well-designed, with the added bonus of a sofa. We enjoyed ordering local pizza and relaxing in the room with cold drinks from the fridge. It was also great to have tea and coffee facilities in the room. the hotel breakfast was outstanding, with a lovely view of the mountains. the beds were comfortable, though the pillows were a bit soft. a fantastic experience and we hope to return in the summer.

This hotel has a spectacular location - it is situated on the lake, edge to edge with a huge green park which is great for walking. Guests are granted free tickets for both the boat and train which will take you to Interlaken, where you can start many of your excursions. The garden view from the hotel room is beautiful and the little balcony is perfect for drinking coffee in the afternoons. The required basic amenities were all provided in the rooms and the breakfast is included with great fresh bread and an astonishing view.
