The staff at this hostel were incredibly friendly and helpful, and they spoke multiple languages, which made communication easy. the location of the hostel was also convenient, with nearby bus stops and a short walk to the nearest MRT station. Additionally, the cleanliness of the facilities was impressive, ensuring a comfortable stay.

One downside of the hostel was the layout of the rooms. In the dormitory I stayed in, it was difficult to have conversations with other roommates due to the L-shaped layout.

The common areas were spacious and well-designed, perfect for socializing with other travelers. The staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The free breakfast was a great bonus, with delicious local fruits and porridge. I highly recommend this hostel for its value for money and vibrant atmosphere.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. the location is fantastic. Situated in a young and cool area, Ximending, it is surrounded by lively streets filled with a variety of restaurants and interesting spots to explore. The convenience of being just a short walk from Ximen station is a huge plus. Additionally, the staff at this hotel are incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay all the more pleasant. They were approachable and went above and beyond to ensure that I felt welcome. Lastly, the basic amenities provided were top-notch. The rooms, complete with thicker mattresses, offered a comfortable and cozy space to relax after a day of sightseeing. The breakfast spread was impressive, with a selection of delicious fruit and even included local beers at affordable prices.

There was only one minor drawback that I noticed during my stay at this hotel. The window in my room was sealed shut and unable to be opened, which made it difficult to freshen up the air in the room.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay, providing me with helpful tips and recommendations for exploring the city. the rooms were also very clean and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a long day of sightseeing. Additionally, the location was great, with easy access to public transportation and within walking distance of many attractions.

There were a few minor inconveniences during my stay. the lockers in the room were quite small and couldn't fit a standard backpack.

We had a fantastic stay at this hostel. The interiors were great and our room, a private room for four, was just the right size and clean. The common area and furnishings were impressive. We particularly enjoyed the wall in the common area where they posted different places to see in Taiwan and how to get there, which was incredibly helpful for us as tourists. The hotel's location is also a major advantage, as it is close to the Ximen MRT station and within walking distance to the vibrant Ximending area. The staff were exceptional, especially Yi-An who went above and beyond to assist us with a last-minute forex problem. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

My recent stay at Meander Taipei Hostel - Ximending was fantastic. The facilities were great and the dorm room I stayed in was clean and comfortable. The common area downstairs was perfect for socializing and meeting new people. I even made some friends to explore the city and enjoy the local food with. The location was also convenient, just a short walk away from the popular Ximending area. I had a great experience at Meander and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Taipei.

I recently stayed at a fantastic hostel in Ximending and had a wonderful experience. The staff, including Claire, Bonnie, and CenCen, were incredibly helpful and friendly. They provided me with great suggestions for things to do and see in the area. The amenities at the hostel were top-notch, with clean and well-designed dorms that had convenient features like hooks and a small safe. The bathroom was spacious and the showers were invigorating. Additionally, the hostel had a shoe dryer, access to a washing machine and dryer, and a large common room area for socializing with other travelers. The location in Ximending was perfect, with many sights and the metro station just a short walk away. I would happily stay at this hostel again and highly recommend it to others.

I had a fantastic stay at this hostel in Ximending, a vibrant Taipei neighborhood. The hotel facilities were fantastic, with a spacious lounge, clean bathrooms and showers, and a well-equipped kitchen. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing recommendations for local sights and food. They were also responsive to feedback and were excellent communicators in English. The location was perfect, just a short 8-10 minute walk from Ximen MRT station and overlooking a relatively quiet and peaceful local street. The hotel also offered free activities every day in the large and cozy common room.

It was all superb.

The value for money at this hostel is unbeatable. The room was clean and comfortable, with cozy beds and hotel quality facilities. The location was great, close to popular attractions and transportation options. The staff treated us with kindness and made us feel at home.

Breakfast choices could be improved by adding some pickles to go with the rice congee and including boiled eggs for more variety.
