The hotel is outstandingly quiet, despite being a short distance from a major road, and it's conveniently close to some very wild and remote places. The rooms were tastefully decorated and very comfortable, with a large bed and excellent amenities like an ironing facility and tea/coffee-making facilities. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, providing a warm service and even a welcome drink. The hotel had a lovely terrace and garden area, perfect for enjoying a drink or relaxing in the sun. And the restaurant was top-notch, with amazing breakfast and dinner options. my experience at this place was excellent, and I highly recommend it.

The 3-course dinner in the evening was stunning. The room was amazing with beautiful decor, a brilliant shower and bath, and comfortable bedding. The hotel allowed free parking across the road. The location by Ullswater Lake was lovely.
