We stayed at the charming Advocate Arms for a weekend while visiting Hemswell Antiques. The hotel had plenty of light, a good breakfast menu catering to all appetites, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The building itself had a lovely character, and the room was cozy with fluffy towels and well-stocked tea facilities. Despite the thin walls, the overall experience was great.

Situated right in the main square of a small town, Advocate Arms offers a convenient location for exploring the area. Despite being on a noisy street, the rooms provide a peaceful retreat. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful, even going out of their way to accommodate guests' requests, such as directing them to the smoking area or suggesting a visit to the nearby free public park. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, with lovely bathrooms and comfortable beds. Guests can also enjoy a delicious breakfast and admire the fun art and decor.

The wifi signal outside the restaurant area is quite poor, making it difficult for guests trying to work.

The room was small but clean, with good facilities and a compact en-suite. The veggie breakfast in the morning was absolutely delicious. The bedding was comfortable and the shower was excellent. The heating worked perfectly and the towels provided were of good quality. I also appreciated the choice of drinks packages and the shower gel and shampoo provided were great. Despite a few minor hiccups such as a poor quality toilet roll and an early bar closing time, overall I had a delightful experience. I will definitely be recommending this hotel to others.

We stayed in a spacious and comfortable room with a balcony, but unfortunately the kitchen extractor fan ruined the experience. The staff were professional, attentive, and Kate went above and beyond to help us with a taxi to the races. The breakfast was excellent, served on hot plates. The location was convenient and there was a nice bar menu alternative.

Stayed at this hotel for a weekend trip to enjoy the Races. The rooms were lovely with amenities like a hairdryer, coffee, tea, herbal tea, and hot chocolate. Although there was no fridge, they provided a Thermos of milk for morning coffee. The bed was comfortable, and extra pillows were available in the wardrobe. The double glazed window made the room quiet. The hotel is a 15/20-minute walk to the Races. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the large TV was a nice touch.

Efficient check-in. Excellent breakfast & dinner with a varied menu. Problem with towel-rail resolved promptly, additional fan provided. Comfortable, well-equipped room for short/long stay. Overall great atmosphere, spacious courtyard. Will return.

Staying here was a luxurious experience! The room was equipped with exclusive amenities and beautifully decorated. The private facilities were clean and modern. The restaurant offered a varied menu and served delicious meals. The bar and lounge area was spacious and well-stocked. The staff provided excellent service, attentive to every need. The location was conveniently situated near local attractions.

While the room was comfortable, the temperature was too warm and the window could not be opened. Parking was limited, making it difficult to find a spot.

The location of the hotel is great, as it is within walking distance of the racecourse. it is convenient for attending events such as a Christening buffet during the day.

One negative aspect is that the hotel didn't have a floor lamp in the room, which made it difficult to read at night.

I recently stayed at A Arms and had a lovely experience. The hotel room had plenty of light, with a bright centre light and lamps to choose from. The bathroom lighting was excellent, and there was no hazardous glass shelf above the basin. The breakfast menu had a good variety and catered to both small and large appetites. We also booked a family meal, and the food was excellent, promptly served by the staff who were thorough and obliging. The bedroom was fantastic, with perks like free tea, coffee, and even hot chocolate. The staff made an effort to make me feel welcomed and explained everything, including me leaving early for work commitments. I would highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay.

The value for money at this hotel was excellent, with reasonably priced drinks, fabulous food, and generously sized and well-equipped rooms. The location was convenient for exploring Lincolnshire, being less than half an hour away from Lincoln. The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel welcomed, even accommodating my early departure for work. The room had nice perks like free tea, coffee, and hot chocolate.
