The live music in the pub was fantastic!

I almost thought I’d give a good review, but then I recalled the basic room and subpar shower pressure. Plus, when I asked about any complimentary upgrade or treat for my stay, I was met with blank stares. Don't even get me started on the absence of double glazing, I can still hear those idling taxis at 1:30am, unbelievable!

Try the pub's unique menu offerings, and don't miss the live music sessions for a cultural experience.

Warm and welcoming service made it special.

Unfortunately, I encountered a musty smell in my room that did not improve throughout my stay. Additionally, the constant noise from nearby traffic was quite disruptive, despite efforts to keep the window closed. It was disappointing because the ambiance of the hotel had potential, but these issues detracted from the overall experience.

Chur, the breakfast was solid, but could use more variety—only dairy options eh. Super friendly staff made it sweet as though!

Super clean rooms and modern bathrooms. A small car park right in the city center. Loved the location down a quiet street but still close to all the action. Staff were super friendly and helpful too!

Almost perfect

Had a fabulous stay here! The staff was incredibly warm, even went out of their way to show me to my room instead of just telling me, felt safe and cared for. The mattress? Like sleeping on a cloud, seriously woke up refreshed every day! Breakfast? Don't skip the cooked option—best I've ever had and worth every penny. They even had a nice range of drinks at the bar. loved the Aspall cider on tap.

Not the cheapest place but fair enough for what you get.

Babbity Bowsters boasts a charming atmosphere and an excellent location in Merchant City, making it easy to explore. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, going beyond expectations, like providing early breakfast on my last day. The room, while a bit snug, was modern and impeccably clean, ensuring a comfortable stay. Just be prepared for the stairs, as there's no elevator.

My stay was wonderful, with an exceptionally warm welcome and a brilliant location just a few steps from merchant city and only a 15-minute walk to glasgow green, allowing me to easily explore various restaurants and relax in the park. i also loved the vibrant atmosphere in the bar area which made for a fun evening after a day of sightseeing.

super chill vibe right in the heart of the city. staff is super friendly and helpful, even left breakfast outside my room! clean rooms, great location near tons of bars and restaurants! !

the stair situation could use some love 😅.
