We stayed in a spacious and well-equipped room like a little apartment. The food in the restaurant was outstanding for both our evening meal and breakfast. The staff were friendly and efficient. The bar had a great selection of local ales and beers.

The parking situation can be a bit inconvenient, as the car park may close at certain times.

We had a wonderful weekend at this hotel. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the castle and beautiful scenery. The car park is conveniently located and secure. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide selection of food. a great place to stay with a lot of facilities and advantages.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this luxurious 4-star hotel and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. The location of this place was absolutely perfect, nestled inside the medieval walls and just a minutes walk from the castle. It's situated in the heart of town, on a lovely pedestrian street, making it the ideal spot for exploring all that this charming destination has to offer. The hotel itself is housed in a characterful building, which adds to its charm, and is conveniently connected to a lovely old busy pub where you can enjoy a drink or two.

Families visiting this place will not be disappointed.

We had a fantastic stay at a lovely hotel with a lot of history and character. The rooms were modern and comfortable, especially the four poster room with a superking bed. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choices for every taste. The staff were friendly, attentive, and even provided us with a free parking permit.

The complimentary mince pies and hot cider on arrival were a nice touch. the location was great and gave easy access to the city centre and local attractions. the room had a cosy feel to it which was perfect for the festive season. the bed was comfy and the tea and coffee facilities were well-stocked.

The room was quite noisy, we could hear people in the corridor and cars passing by outside. the bathroom was small and cramped which made it difficult to move around.
