We had a fantastic time at this charming B&B. Our family suite was spacious and cozy with comfortable beds and a great selection of films. The bathroom was stunning with a rainfall shower and modern bath. Breakfast was a highlight, with plenty of gluten-free options, fresh fruit, and delicious chicken and basil sausages. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. We can't wait to return!

Gorgeous villa with stunning views in a peaceful location. The staff were welcoming and made us feel like family. The breakfasts were fabulous with a surprising waffle option. The rooms were spacious and newly furnished with comfortable beds and large TVs with a wide selection of movies. The wet room style bathroom with marble was luxurious.

Limited food options, would have liked some fish. The lounge/common areas were a bit outdated in style.

The location is absolutely stunning, set in beautiful surroundings with breathtaking views of the estuary. It's close enough to all local amenities, yet offers the peacefulness and tranquility of the surrounding nature. There's even a lovely old pub nearby to enjoy. The rooms are comfortable and well-appointed, with spacious bathrooms. The staff are friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay. The breakfast is delicious and offers a wide variety of options. Plus, the property is filled with art and has lovely gardens to explore.

One minor downside is that the communal areas could use a bit of sprucing up, with the carpet on the stairs appearing a bit tired and some clutter here and there.

We stayed at Borthwnog Hall for a week on our trip through North-West Wales and it was simply everything we could ask for. The Victorian building has a modern finish with an awesome bathroom and breakfast music selection. The hotel offers beautiful views of the Mawddach estuary, and the rooms are beautifully decorated with incredible art and crafts from around the world. The breakfast room even has a giant fish tank! The two hostesses, Sophie and Marilyn, were absolutely fantastic and made our stay comfortable. The location is also ideal for exploring the area.

I recently stayed at a charming hotel situated on the estuary with lovely gardens. The location was perfect, close to a gorgeous old pub where I enjoyed a delicious lunch. The room I stayed in was cozy and well-equipped, with thoughtful touches like a dressing gown and freshly brewed coffee. The staff were friendly and welcoming, treating me like part of the family. The breakfast options were extensive and the food was delicious. I also had the pleasure of enjoying stunning views of the estuary.

Lovely view, comfy big bed, super breakfast with endless choices. Great hill walk base in November. Ate well in town and at Cross Foxes. Staff were amazing, accommodating specific dietary needs. Relaxing place with impeccable decor. A group of 3 ladies felt so welcomed. An asset indeed. Excellent estuary view, quality linen, best hotel shower seen. Small B&B with no facilities, but very nice. Very pleasant stay, extended visit. Comfortable hotel full of charm and character. Excellent views. Attentive friendly staff. We recently spent 4 wonderful days at this perfect retreat. The bedrooms overlooking the Mawddach estuary were beautifully furnished and had comfortable beds. The staff, especially Sophie, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, setting us up for long walks along the estuary. The house and garden were stunning, filled with interesting art and quirky furnishings. The shower was amazing and the tea making facilities were a nice touch. We will definitely be returning to this hidden gem.

We got great value for our money at Borthwnog Hall. The room was amazing, with a huge bed, lovely bathroom, and a great selection of films/tv in case of bad weather. The location overlooking the Mawdach estuary was stunning, and the staff were incredibly helpful and always polite.

The location of the hotel was just amazing, with stunning views of the river and a beautiful garden. The staff were very friendly and professional, always ready to help with a smile. What I loved the most was the breakfast, which was really impressive. They had a great selection of fresh fruits, pastries, and cereals, as well as hot food made to order. The waffles were my favorite, and they even offered to-go boxes for any leftovers.

The only thing that I found disappointing was the lack of drinks in the guest lounge. It would have been great to have a small selection available since there wasn't much to do in the area at night.

Moreover, the location was ideal for exploring mid/north Wales.
