I stayed at Cottage Grove Homestay Rooms for a gig nearby and it was perfect. The location was ideal, close to pubs and restaurants but still peaceful. The room was exactly as described, with a super comfy bed. The shared bathroom wasn't an issue since there was only one other room. The hosts were extremely welcoming and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The keyless entry and pet-friendly policy were great bonuses. a top-notch stay with amazing rooms and a lovely neighborhood.

Stayed at Cottage Grove Homestay for a few nights and had a great time. The room was spacious and the main bathroom was well-equipped. Loved the extra lavatory too. The yard/patio was a pleasant addition, perfect for relaxing. Close to the main street and a short walk to the grassy esplanade where my dog had a blast. Nearby, we found dog-friendly restaurants and pubs, and the Chinese take-away served the best fish and chips we've ever had. Lee and Melanie, the owners, were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.

The customer care was excellent. The host made me feel very welcome and provided great attention to detail with the decor. The central location was perfect for exploring Southsea and the nearby attractions. Breakfast was delicious and the room was clean and comfortable.

The refurbishment of the property is going really well, with a modern twist on the period design. The Middle Floor room was clean, comfortable, and had access to Netflix and Amazon. The bathroom, although not en suite, was right next to the room and felt like my own. The breakfast was self-service and the open plan kitchen was a great place to chat with other guests. The location is perfect, with Gunwharf Quays, the Aquarium, and the Seafront all within a 15-20 minute walk. a lovely place to stay.

Upon arrival, Lee and his family gave me a warm welcome and showed me around their immaculate home and beautiful garden area. the bedroom I stayed in was clean, cozy, and spacious. Even though the bathroom and toilets were shared, I had no problem using them privately at any time. Staying at this property definitely enhanced my weekend in Southsea.
