Wonderful stay, perfect location for exploring, helpful staff, beautiful river view, outstanding breakfast.

Everything is what I need and want.

Great location near the river and main shopping area. The hotel also had a nice bar where you could enjoy a drink after a long day of work.

The staff at the reception seemed more interested in chatting amongst themselves than assisting guests. We were given a room with a rear view, directly facing a wall, and had to ask to be moved.

My recent stay at the Clayton Hotel Glasgow City was wonderful. The location is perfect, with easy access to the subway station and stunning views of the bridge from my room. The hotel itself is very classy, with elegant furnishings and amenities. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the rain head shower in the bathroom was a luxurious touch. The on-site restaurant and bar served delicious food and cocktails. The breakfast buffet was also excellent. The overall cleanliness of the hotel was impressive.

Although there were a few minor drawbacks, such as the lack of parking and the slightly small rooms, they did not significantly impact my stay. The lack of a mini bar/fridge and other small amenities like robes and herbal teas in the room was not a major issue for me.

Great location, close to the city center, with a beautiful view of the river. The hotel is modern, yet has a charming old feel with its brickwork. The room was comfortable, with a cosy bed and excellent shower. The hotel's common spaces are spacious and beautifully furnished. Good internet, coffee/tea making facilities, and TV channels. Excellent and speedy lifts and pleasant reception staff. Walking distance from Queen St. station, shopping, restaurants, and the subway.

I had a fantastic experience at this hotel. The room was spacious and had a very comfortable large bed. I was impressed with the amenities provided, including dressing gowns and slippers. The shower was fabulous and the room was spotlessly clean. I appreciated the refrigerator in the room that kept my drinks nice and cold. The hotel also had plenty of sit-off rooms, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. The coffee machine provided in the room was a great addition, and there were even extra pillows available in the cupboard. The lifts were fast and efficient. The staff at the hotel were outstanding in every way, providing excellent service throughout my stay. The location was central and the view from my room was lovely. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again. The fact that they stored my luggage for 3 nights while I went on a trip to the Isle of Skye was a real plus.

Our Christmas stay at this hotel was enjoyable. The breakfast was satisfying and the beds comfy. The location was excellent, with easy access to shops and attractions. We appreciated the assistance from the staff with finding our way around the area.

The air conditioning was not working properly, making the room too warm. We had to pay for them separately.

This place is absolutely fantastic! The staff here are amazing, making us feel welcome and comfortable from the moment we arrived. The location is superb, right in the heart of the city center and close to the riverbank. We were able to easily access all the attractions and amenities in the area. The architecture of this hotel is stunning, combining old and new elements seamlessly. Our room was beautifully designed, clean, and incredibly comfortable. Everything we could possibly need was provided, from ironing facilities to a flat-screen TV. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options and high-quality food. We were also impressed by the 24-hour reception and the free Wi-Fi available in the public areas. this hotel exceeded our expectations in terms of luxury, comfort, and service.

I really got great value for my money at Clayton Hotel Glasgow City. The room was beautiful and the bed was incredibly comfortable, although a bit high for someone short like me. The bathroom was spotless and had great water pressure in the shower. The location couldn't have been better, with Glasgow Central and the OVO Hydro just a short walk away. The staff at reception were lovely and helpful, showing us around the hotel maze.

The breakfast experience could be improved with clearer instructions for the thermostat. It was a bit tricky to figure out, especially for those not familiar with it.

Not one thing.

We had an amazing stay at a hotel in Glasgow City. Check-in was quick and efficient, even during the busy festival. The staff took care of our luggage while we attended the festival, and when we returned late at night, they promptly gave us our room keys. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a quirky touch of incorporating part of the original building into the bar area. The room was lovely, with a comfortable bed and a clean bathroom. The central location was perfect for attending a concert at the OVO Hydro, and it was just a short walk from Glasgow Central. The receptionist was also very helpful, showing us around and making sure we knew our way to our room. a fantastic experience.
