i was absolutely appalled at being stuck in a basement room with a transparent bathroom door. how lovely! breakfast was an absolute disaster, and i expected a complimentary upgrade for my troubles. clearly, the management doesn't understand special treatment. maybe i could’ve given a good review, but i just couldn’t with all these inconveniences.

Convenient location near major attractions.

My stay was riddled with disappointments. The room was incredibly cramped with minimal storage, which made unpacking impossible. Additionally, the unique glass bathroom design was impractical. the light from the bathroom disturbed my sleep when my partner used it at night. The breakfast was hit or miss, as I found the offerings on one morning to be subpar and lacking freshness compared to the day before.

The hotel offers a wonderful Nespresso coffee machine in the room, along with a selection of tea and snacks for a cozy in-room experience.

While the hotel is well-located, the check-in process during peak hours could use more staff to expedite the queue, as the wait was longer than expected.

Consider exploring nearby shops for local snacks if the hotel breakfast is too crowded or unappetizing. it’s a great way to enjoy local cuisine.

Man, the place was immaculate, you know? They greeted us with desserts to celebrate our anniversary, and the room was like a sanctuary — all new and clean with these comfortable sheets that don't fit the mattress quite right. Even got bath robes which I didn't expect. We had a mini fridge that was tiny but functional, like pure convenience at your fingertips.

Plus, the location was just perfect for hitting up nearby bars and exploring some charming shops. Strolling up to Carlton Hill for those breathtaking views was a highlight of our trip, couldn’t get enough of that scenery!

The hotel had a fantastic location near Waverley station, perfect for our family with four babies. The breakfast was delightful, offering a great atmosphere and plenty of options to fuel our adventures around Edinburgh. Staff was accommodating, making our stay smooth.

We had a lovely stay! The hotel was super clean and comfy. Loved that there were tons of options at breakfast – I’m all about variety, ya know? Everything’s just a step away, shops, restaurants, and even a cute little bookstore right around the corner. Just wish the food menu for dinner had more choices. it was kinda limited.
