It was also conveniently located near Edinburgh castle and a charming little garden. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, with a separate dining area and amenities like a coffee machine. That the windows in the old building were not dual insulated, so a bit of cold could get in. Some guests might have needed a portable heater, especially in the larger rooms.
