The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring the city, being really close to Haymarket train station and within easy reach of the city center. It was also conveniently located near Edinburgh castle and a charming little garden. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, with a separate dining area and amenities like a coffee machine. The hotel even provided entertainment options like BBC and Prime Video subscriptions.

That the windows in the old building were not dual insulated, so a bit of cold could get in. Some guests might have needed a portable heater, especially in the larger rooms.

I recently stayed at Distillers House for a week and it was absolutely wonderful. The location was central, with easy access to public transport and plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. The apartment itself was beautifully decorated and spacious, with high ceilings and all the amenities I needed. The bed was extremely comfortable and the property was well insulated, keeping the noise level low. The staff were helpful and the apartment was serviced during my stay. one of the best places I've ever stayed at, 10/10 for sure.

The kitchen was well-equipped and perfect for cooking up delicious meals. The staff was friendly and provided excellent service. a fantastic experience near the city center and close to all the attractions.
