Our stay at Dolgun Uchaf Guesthouse was fantastic! The Family Room we booked was spacious and clean, with all the amenities we needed. We were pleasantly surprised to find a fully equipped kitchen and a cozy lounge area. The location was perfect, with a charming old town just a short distance away. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this guesthouse for a wonderful stay in Snowdonia.

If you're a bike rider looking for a stop off point for touring, this charming retreat is the perfect choice. Situated close to the beautiful village of Dolgellau, it offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The rooms are warm, quiet, and comfortable, ideal for drying out your wet gear. The staff are pleasant and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay. Plus, the delicious breakfast will fuel you up for the many fabulous walks near Dolgellau.

Although the hotel offers free parking, the spaces are fairly restricted.

The location of the guesthouse and cottages was ideal, close enough to the town with a couple of restaurants nearby, but still remote enough to feel like you were out in the wild Wales. The room we stayed in had a beautiful view of the surrounding valley, and the spacious interior made for a pleasant and relaxing stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, with one receptionist being especially attentive and lovely.

The lighting in the lounge and bathroom was a little dim, which made it slightly inconvenient at times.

Our weekend was a great value for money, offering cozy apartments and delicious breakfasts. We had a very tranquil stay in separate parts of the house and enjoyed sitting outside. We were able to catch up on laundry and appreciate that the location was good for dogs, with secure gardens.

We struggled a bit with finding the entrance, and the instructions lacked clarity. We found there was not enough ventilation, with only a small window in the bathroom.
