The staff were so friendly and welcoming, setting the perfect mood from the moment I arrived. The room was clean and spacious, with beautiful furniture and a large bathroom. The grounds were stunning and it was great to be able to explore the whole building. The spa was luxurious and offered amazing treatments. I even saw wildlife during my walk around the grounds. I've already recommended this place to my parents who are planning a trip of their own.

Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

The function room was nice. Staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. Check-in was smooth and we were given a room upgrade without asking. The lounge/bar staff helped find us a table. The duty manager, Imran, kindly gave us complimentary drinks when there was a mix-up with our dinner order. Everyone at the hotel did their best to make it a wonderful stay.

I can't believe the value for money at Down Hall! The room was incredible, with beautiful views and a heavenly bed. The location was perfect, with stunning gardens for walks and even dog-friendly rooms. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, especially when it came to my gluten intolerance.

One small thing that could have made the breakfast even better is clearer signage for the different trails.

Stayed here for a weekend and the bed was very comfortable. The cocktail I had at the bar was quite good. The view from the room was also amazing.

The room service, although a bit pricey, offered generous portions of delicious food. I had a minor issue with my phone, but Adam quickly and efficiently resolved it. The hotel grounds were beautiful and perfect for a leisurely walk. The spa was also fantastic with a large jacuzzi and a peaceful atmosphere. The Swedish massage was absolutely amazing!

Everything is what i need and want.

Wow! This place was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, we felt like royalty. The beautiful grounds and stunning building set the perfect romantic atmosphere for our escape. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome and relaxed throughout our stay. And the room.oh my goodness, it was pure luxury. The bed was so comfortable, and everything was spotlessly clean. We also loved the spa, where we were able to unwind and enjoy some pampering. It was the perfect place to relax and reconnect with each other.

Although our overall experience was fantastic, there were a few minor issues that impacted our stay. the noise from wedding parties was quite loud, especially during dinner in the restaurant, which took away from the relaxing ambiance.

The spa experience was tranquil and relaxing, despite the limited capacity. The grounds were beautiful, and the historical facts of the building added to the charm.
