The location of the hotel was amazing, right by the beach and close to all the attractions. the staff were friendly and helpful, always making sure we had what we needed. the room was clean and comfortable, with a cozy bed and a lovely view. Plus, the complimentary coffee and water were a nice touch.

The food at the hotel restaurant was overpriced and not very tasty. We ended up going elsewhere for meals.

I recently stayed at Drakes for a short trip to see Nick Cave at Brighton Dome. The hotel's location was perfect, just a short walk from the Lanes. The staff were exceptional, going above and beyond to help when our niece's dog had a small seizure. The room was comfortable and larger than expected, and the bathroom downstairs was an interesting feature that worked well. The bar was a great place to relax at the end of the day with a nice drink.

Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed the convenience of having all the bars within walking distance, while still being able to enjoy good sea views. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with a beautiful staircase and mirror leading up to the rooms. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the staff were friendly, efficient, and accommodating. The breakfast offered a very good choice, and the staff took great care in making sure everything was done as we wanted.

Some rooms had a musty smell and threadbare appearance, which could be improved.

Celebrated my husband's birthday at Drakes, returning after many years and it was just as wonderful as before. Sarah, the staff, called prior to our arrival to ensure all our needs were met, including car parking. Room was amazing with a lovely touch of a personalized card. Can't wait to return. The staff at Drakes were exceptional, going above and beyond. We were upgraded for free and our planned activities, like the massage and rose petal bath, were seamless. Best hotel experience ever!

Great location, within walking distance of all the sights and attractions. the view from the window was wonderful and so relaxing. the bed was comfy and the room was kept clean. Loved the lounge and drinks area as it was so cozy. the staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even better.
