As bike riders, we loved the fact that the hotel had a gym and plenty of storage space for our bikes. The meals, especially the breakfast and dinner, were excellent and there was plenty of variety. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The hotel also had a pool, although we didn't have a chance to use it.

As someone who loves being in direct touch with nature, I was thrilled with the hotel's excellent location and breathtaking views. The spacious and clean rooms offered a comfortable stay, and being upgraded to a bigger suite with a kitchen was a nice surprise. The restaurant had a delicious and varied menu, with generous portions that always left us satisfied. The hot tub and swimming pool were a perfect way to relax after a day of exploring, and we often had them all to ourselves. The friendly and helpful staff made our stay even more enjoyable. Will definitely choose this hotel again.

The food at the hotel's restaurant was top-notch, especially the steak and the burgers on Thursday nights. the rooms were spacious and comfortable, with daily cleaning and fresh towels available on request. the hotel's swimming pool was a fun and enjoyable amenity, perfect for a refreshing dip.

The walls in the rooms seemed to be quite thin, as we could hear other guests talking in the rooms next to us. the presence of a swim school meant that there were sometimes noisy children running around during dinner.

We had a great time at the Spa Hotel & Apartments. The location was fantastic, with easy access to nearby attractions. The Skiddaw apartment was spacious and well-appointed with two good bedrooms and nice bathrooms. The terrace was a nice bonus. The staff were helpful and the breakfast was delicious. we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a 4-star hotel in Cumbria and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. This place is set in the midst of the magnificent north lakes and offers stunning views of the surrounding fells. The location alone is worth the visit! The staff here were incredibly welcoming and helpful, making me feel right at home. The service, from the room service breakfasts to the attentive staff at dinner and breakfast, was top-notch. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed for a luxurious stay, including a lovely spa bath. The towels were soft and fluffy and the soaps and shower gels provided were of nice quality. I also appreciated the well-chosen wine list in the restaurant, a true delight.

We had an amazing Christmas break at this hotel. the room we stayed in was perfect for our needs, with plenty of space and all the necessary amenities. the hotel's location was great, with beautiful walks accessible right from the room's patio doors. the highlight of our stay was the delicious 7-course Christmas meal, which left us feeling full and content. We also enjoyed the fact that the hotel was pet-friendly, allowing us to bring our dogs along. we had a fantastic experience and we would definitely return.

One small downside was the timing of the buffet meal. We were too full after the Christmas dinner to fully enjoy the buffet in the evening.
