For us it was ideal.

The location is perfect, with a beautiful view of the surrounding area and close access to the Peak District trails. The room is spacious and comfortable, with a well-appointed bathroom. The service is exceptional, with the host providing a warm welcome and going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The breakfast options are delicious with a variety of choices, and the little touches like fresh flowers and chocolates add a personal touch to the experience.

The TV in the shared lounge is quite small, which may not be ideal for those looking to relax and watch a movie.

The hotel had everything I needed for a relaxing stay, from the clean and spacious rooms to the wonderful garden views. The attention to detail was impressive, with little touches like fresh milk, grapes, and a selection of teas and coffees. The breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety of options. The staff were helpful and friendly, providing lots of information about the local area and giving excellent recommendations for dinner options. The hotel's location was ideal for exploring the surrounding area, with easy access to transportation and plenty of parking available.

The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. The breakfast, especially the bacon and sausages, was of very high quality. The property was close to important tourist attractions and amenities.

The property was difficult to locate in the dark and could benefit from better signage.

We had a luxurious stay at this hotel with exclusive amenities, including a cozy leisure room and a well-equipped private facility. The friendly staff provided exceptional service. The breakfast was delicious with locally sourced ingredients, and the lounge area was perfect for relaxing. The location was peaceful and quiet, making a perfect getaway.

The location, which was a bit far from some restaurants. However, it was manageable with a taxi or a half an hour walk, which would have been nicer in better weather.

Immaculate and very welcoming. A lovely stay. We stayed here for two nights and were impressed by the cleanliness of the B&B. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated with high-quality linen and towels. The host, Alison, made us feel at home and provided excellent local knowledge. The breakfast was superb, with a wide selection of options including a delicious vegetarian cooked breakfast. Despite the lack of a TV in the room, the comfortable lounge area made up for it. The only minor issues were with the WiFi and the lack of card payment option. However, overall, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend Foxlow Coach House.
