We absolutely loved our stay at this splendid country house hotel! The building is stunning, with beautifully tended gardens and a delightful terrace. The staff were young, pleasant, and very helpful, making our experience even better. The restaurant was outstanding, and we especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast, with the smoked haddock being a standout. The rooms were excellent, with comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms, and some even had a sitting room. The hotel also had great facilities, and we really liked the buttons in the shower that allowed us to switch between different heads. it was a five-star experience at a four-star price.

We spent a lovely Christmas break at this hotel. the room was very spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and fresh linens. the food was absolutely amazing, especially the Christmas dinner which was a real highlight. the location was great too, with plenty of nature walks to enjoy throughout the day.

The lack of tea-making facilities in the rooms. It would have been nice to make a cup of tea in the mornings or before bed.

during my summer holiday in uckfield, the unexpected link to the late queen elizabeth fascinated me at a beautiful victorian gothic manor. the staff were excellent, the food delicious, and the restored original features added to the peaceful ambiance at horsted place.

The room we stayed in was spacious and tastefully decorated, providing great comfort. the staff were friendly and attentive, making sure all our needs were met. The breakfast selection was impressive, offering a variety of delicious options to start the day. The hotel is also conveniently close to Glyndebourne, allowing easy access for those attending events there.

I had a delightful stay at a hidden gem, surrounded by quiet and picturesque surroundings. the property at Horsted Place exceeded my expectations with its outstanding service and professionalism from the staff. the mini suite I booked was exceptionally clean, well-equipped, and a lovely surprise. the comfortable bed ensured a restful night's sleep. the food at the hotel was exceptional, and the breakfasts were a real treat.

The staff provides excellent service, going above and beyond to accommodate guests' needs, even escorting disabled individuals and ensuring a warm welcome. The hotel offers a delectable dining experience, with quality food that surprises guests with its flavors. Afternoon tea is a particular highlight, with superb service and a delightful spread of treats.

The communication from the hotel could be improved, as some guests were addressed by their surnames only, which may come across as impolite.

Loved the dog-friendly policy and beautiful grounds. Bar area allows dining with pets. Great parking. Good location for walks.

We had a fantastic stay at Horsted Place. The Victorian mansion in the Sussex countryside was lovely, with friendly staff. The food in the restaurant was delicious, especially the generous breakfast. Our suite was comfortable, although some furniture was a bit tired. it was a great value and perfect for parties and events.

We loved the beautiful, quiet location and extensive grounds of the hotel. The setting gave us a true English country feeling. From our seating area, we could easily access the National Trust Garden at Nymans and enjoy walks around the area.
