The hotel's location was excellent, right on the seafront opposite a small fun fair. It was also very close to all amenities and the harbour. The staff were friendly and attentive. The cleanliness of the hotel was exceptional.

The location of this hotel was great, right in the center of town which made it very convenient for sightseeing. We were able to easily explore the area and enjoy the nearby attractions. The staff at this hotel were very friendly and attentive, always willing to help with any requests or concerns. The basic amenities provided in the rooms were satisfactory, ensuring a comfortable stay. Despite being at the back of the building, the rooms were clean and tidy, meeting our expectations. Additionally, the breakfast offered at this hotel was excellent, with a variety of options to choose from and delicious food.

While everything at this hotel was generally satisfactory, there is room for improvement in terms of room views and noise levels. The views from the highly priced "seaview room" did not match our expectations, as it overlooked a small fun fair and a pedestrian area/road instead of a beautiful sea landscape.

The location of the hotel was great, being close to the beach and local shops. We also loved the fact that it was a short walk from the train station, making it convenient for travelers. Additionally, the staff at the hotel were very friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome during our Christmas stay.

There were a few aspects that we didn't enjoy. the breakfast was not amazing and the service was quite slow.

I had a lovely stay at a hotel near the beach. The location was perfect, right on the promenade and super close to the beach. The room was beautiful, clean, and had a luxury feel to it. The staff was friendly and attentive, making our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options. I loved the view from our room, overlooking the sea. the hotel had great facilities and room advantages, making it a great choice for a beachside getaway.

I did notice a lack of sound insulation, which was a bit bothersome at times.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was delicious, offering a wide variety of options including fish and a traditional English breakfast. The location was perfect, right in the center of town and close to everything. We were pleasantly surprised by how close it was to the ferry terminal, making it convenient for our trip to the Channel Isles on Condor. The cleanliness of the hotel was impressive, and the facilities were top-notch. Additionally, the parking was a breeze, thanks to the option to hire the use of their garage. we couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Despite some initial parking challenges, the hotel staff provided a parking permit for free on-street parking. The rooms were clean, tidy, and warm, offering tea and coffee amenities. The hotel's location was perfect, situated right on the seafront with lovely views of Weymouth Bay.

The shower had low water pressure, which was a minor inconvenience. Additionally, some of the rooms were a bit dated in terms of decor and size, although they were kept clean.

Excellent seafront location. Perfect for exploring the town, theater, and bus stops. Staff are friendly and helpful with parking. Clean and comfortable with superb breakfast options. Ate at the restaurant and had an excellent meal. Relaxing and enjoyable stay.

We loved the Hotel Rex! The best aspects were the friendly and welcoming staff, the convenient location close to the city center, the beach, and shops, and the clean and well-maintained hotel facilities. The layout of the hotel was also great, and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast served by the attentive staff.

We couldn't have asked for more value for our money at Hotel Rex. The room, especially with the balcony, was tastefully redecorated and incredibly comfortable. The location was perfect, right on the seafront and close to the charming old Harbour and shopping streets. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made us feel incredibly welcome throughout our stay.

The breakfast selection could use some improvement, particularly the sausages and mixed grill. However, the fish and dessert were delicious.
