During my recent stay at Howfield Manor, I experienced top-notch service and a delightful ambiance. The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to assist with any requests. One particular highlight was the outstanding food served at the hotel. The homemade ice cream and raspberry sorbet were truly award-winning. The breakfast spread was equally impressive, offering a wide selection of delicious options, including a full English breakfast, haddock, and scrambled eggs with smoked salmon. The beautiful gardens provided a picturesque backdrop, perfect for wedding photos. The resident Robin was an adorable bonus too. I highly recommend this charming hotel and its amazing culinary offerings.

The hotel is set in beautiful grounds and the rooms are spacious and clean. the bed was very comfortable and the tea making facilities were a nice touch. the continental breakfast included delicious yogurt with fruit compote and tasty granary bread toast.

The bathroom was a bit dated and could use some updating. the shower took a while to warm up and the pressure wasn't the best.

howfield manor in canterbury was a pleasant surprise. beautiful period features and gardens. the staff were incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to make our stay amazing.

We stayed in a very large room with a fireplace, perfect for a family with kids. The location was great for shopping in Canterbury. The staff were excellent, from the helpful receptionist to the friendly manageress. We enjoyed a delicious dinner and a fantastic breakfast. The hotel had a beautiful garden where we could relax and play games. The hotel also provided local information and the history of the site was fascinating.

Felt very fortunate to have discovered this gem, no complaints whatsoever.

I recently stayed at a charming manor house for one night. The location was perfect for me, as I wanted to explore the surrounding area and it was very handy for the ferry. The stunning garden added to the overall ambiance of the place. The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable, with all the facilities I needed, including tea making facilities and a hairdryer. The service was friendly and efficient, and the breakfast was delicious with a choice of Continental or full English.

That some guests and staff did not adhere to the mask-wearing policy, which made me a bit uncomfortable.

I recently stayed at Howfield Manor for a few nights and had a great experience. The staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The breakfast was delicious and the room was nice, with a decent size and even came equipped with a fridge and safe. The building itself has a fascinating history, adding to the charm of the place. I also enjoyed sitting out in the grounds, when the weather allowed, it was a lovely and peaceful spot. The free parking was a bonus too!

I enjoyed spending time in the garden in the morning and the hotel's central location made it convenient for exploring the nearby tunnel, only a 20-minute drive away.

Lastly, the breakfast offered a great variety of local products, which was a delightful way to start the day.

All in all, I had a very pleasant stay and couldn't fault anything.
