We had a delightful stay in a clean and comfy room. The location was great, just a 2-minute walk from the train station and the Windermere information center where all the tours start. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options served in a buffet style. We also appreciated the convenience of having a private bathroom with a shower and a small fridge in the room.

The check-in time of 4pm and the 10am check-out felt a bit rushed, as if we were only paying for 16 hours.

our recent stay at lakes lodge windermere was exceptional. from the welcoming and friendly staff to the immaculate and spacious rooms, everything exceeded our expectations. the breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices. the location was also perfect, allowing us easy access to trains and buses. overall, it was a 5-star experience.

The hotel is conveniently located, just a short distance away from the beautiful lake and the visitor centre. It also offers the benefit of parking right in front of the property, which is a huge plus, especially on a busy weekend like the May bank holiday. everything you need is within close proximity, from shops and the train station to buses that can take you around the area.

The bathroom could definitely use some renovation.
