The breakfast was fantastic, with a great variety of options to choose from. The hosts were very welcoming and provided a lovely message with the keys upon arrival. The location was perfect, with plenty of restaurants and pubs nearby to explore. the room was clean and had nice amenities such as teas, coffees, and a mini fridge.

That the bathroom in our room was very small, with limited space to move around. the parking situation was a bit misleading, with limited free parking available nearby.

lingmoor really exceeded my expectations during this longer stay in windermere. the facilities, location, and friendly service were outstanding. i would highly recommend it! 10/10 would come back again!

We had a fantastic stay at Lingmoor! The location was perfect, just a short walk away from the train station and close to all the attractions in Windermere. The room was clean and comfortable, with nice interiors and a mini fridge for our convenience. The breakfast was delicious, and the host provided great recommendations for local restaurants. we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is nestled in a very nice area of the Lake District, making it an ideal base for exploring Windermere town center and the surrounding attractions. The location is truly a standout feature, with hiking paths and the picturesque lake within easy reach.

No major issues encountered, everything was absolutely fine.

We stayed here over Xmas and the staff were friendly. The breakfast was fantastic and the packed lunches were convenient for our day trips. The rooms were cozy and they had comfortable beds. the location was near the town center which made it easy to explore.

With Christmas nearly upon us, we expected a festive atmosphere. Sadly, the hotel had no decorations in sight.

Great location, just a short walk from the town centre with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. The bus and train station were conveniently located at the top of the road. The room had a large window that let in lots of natural light, making it bright and welcoming. The beds were really comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep.

The bathroom was a bit small, but it was clean and functional. The water took a while to heat up, but once it did, the shower was good.

I loved the location of Lingmoor, it was so central and convenient for all the activities we wanted to do in the area. Our room on the 2nd floor was comfortable and private, with a great view of the village below. Finding free parking right out front was a breeze. We also enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and tasty local beers at the nearby Crafty Baa pub. The property itself was clean and well-maintained, with amenities like a built-in wardrobe and TV with Netflix. The key code system made checking in and out hassle-free. I would definitely recommend Lingmoor for its excellent location and comfortable accommodations.

Although the bed wasn't the most comfortable and the bathroom was small, these were minor inconveniences compared to the overall positive experience.

Low-ceilinged attic room was physically uncomfortable and easy to bump into beams. Small duvet that didn't provide enough warmth in the early morning.

Nothing to dislike

I stayed at a guest house in a fantastic location in the Lake District. It was near the train station, which was amazing for me as a backpacker. The room was clean and nicely decorated, and the owners were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They even gave me great recommendations for restaurants and bars nearby. The guest house had a contactless and fully automated experience, which was really convenient. I also enjoyed watching movies on the smart TV with Netflix subscription in the room.

That there was no reception room or chairs in the room, so on rainy days or when I didn't feel like hiking, I had nowhere to relax.

As foreign tourists, we loved the location of the guest house, which was conveniently close to the train station and surrounded by great pubs and cafes. The room was lovely and well-presented, with amenities like a mini fridge that were a huge bonus. Ruth, the owner, was incredibly helpful in providing us with advice on navigating the area and recommending tours and buses. a perfect getaway with a 10/10 rating!

Convenient location near cafes, bars, and restaurants. No breakfast, but amazing nearby cafe called Sugar & Spice. Clean rooms with hot showers. Helpful owner who resolved issues and even gave a gift. Great weekend with family. Highly recommended.
