We loved the charming castle ambiance and the beautiful location. The staff were friendly and professional. The room was small but comfortable and spotless, with a comfortable bed and luxurious bed linen. Breakfast was lovely with welcoming staff. The hotel offered vegetarian and vegan options, catering to our dietary preferences.

Felt warm, no complaints whatsoever.

As a group of friends, we enjoyed the special events and themed afternoon teas at Lumley Castle. The medieval banquets and murder mysteries were a lot of fun. The old-world charm and beautiful surroundings made our stay memorable.

The courtyard surrounding the castle is beautiful and adds to the overall charm of the venue. The service provided by the staff, from room service to housekeeping, was top-notch. We were impressed by the attention to detail and the quick response to any requests we had. The room amenities were excellent, with everything from ironing facilities to a mini-bar provided. The sitting area was comfortable and we appreciated the air conditioning. the quality of the room and the amenities exceeded our expectations.

The staff were beyond helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The service in the restaurant was excellent, with delicious food and a wide selection of drinks. The breakfast the next morning was equally brilliant, starting our day off on a high note.

We stayed in the Queen Anne room which was beautiful and gave us the full castle experience. The lack of shower and small bed may not suit everyone, but it was a stunning room. we recommend this hotel.

I stayed at this hotel during my recent city trip and there were some positive aspects that I enjoyed. the hotel offered amazing food and drink options. the meals were delicious and the portions were generous. I particularly loved the cheese portions, they were huge! Secondly, the staff were very welcoming and friendly. They provided excellent service and went above and beyond to make sure I had a comfortable stay. Lastly, the hotel had a lot of character and history, which added to the overall experience. It was exciting to stay in a place with such a rich history.

My room, although small, was cozy and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a day of exploring. The bathroom was well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, offering a touch of luxury. Additionally, the breakfast spread was delicious and provided a great start to the day.

I did find some of the additional services at the hotel to be lacking in quality.

The bed and bed linen were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Additionally, the breakfast served at this hotel was delicious and the staff were very welcoming.

This place is set in a stunning location on a hill, making it perfect for lovely walks and there's even a nearby golf course! The service provided by the staff here is excellent, and they really take care of everything, including room service, housekeeping. I was impressed with the range of in-room amenities, from heating and air conditioning to mini-bar and trouser press. The garden furniture outside my room was a nice touch, too. The dining experience here was fantastic, with special diets easily accommodated and the restaurant offering in-room breakfast and a bar/lounge area.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends, despite the minor issue of the senior staff occasionally appearing unprofessional and barking orders at junior ones on the morning shift at breakfast. Nonetheless, the one staff member we spoke to was excellent and very attentive.

The castle bedroom was fantastic, authentic and spotless. Beautiful gardens and surroundings. Excellent breakfast selection. Staff were wonderful, very cheerful and accommodating. Pleasant music throughout the building.
