We had a delightful stay at Motel One Edinburgh-Royal for a weekend getaway. The reception staff were incredibly helpful, ensuring that we were accommodated next to our family members who booked separately. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the train station and with a lovely view of Princess Street. The well-equipped and spacious rooms were clean and comfortable, with the 24hr bar being an added bonus. We also appreciated the free luggage hold, allowing us to explore before heading home.

We loved the fantastic location of this hotel, right in the heart of the old town. The hotel is centrally located, with easy access to transportation options such as the airport bus and tram. The cleanliness of the room and hotel in general was top-notch, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast offered a continental spread that was rich and satisfying.

This hotel is fantastic value for money, especially considering its prime location right next to the train station and in the centre of everything. The staff are incredibly attentive and the basic amenities such as the comfortable beds, lovely showers and breakfast offered were all top-notch.

Great option for modern, budget-friendly stay, with efficient use of space and friendly staff. Ideal location near train station and High Street, but still quiet. Comfy bed in clean and spacious room with basic facilities. Good view of pretty street. Perfect for Christmas market getaway.

As young people, we loved the amazing location right by the train station, park, and shops. The room was clean and comfortable, with a cool skylight and environmentally friendly amenities. The 24-hour bar had a funky vibe and the reception staff were helpful and articulate. We regretted not being able to try the delicious-smelling breakfast.

Felt like our own home, no complaints at all.
