The hotel had stunning views and a beautiful surrounding. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had matching furnishings. The bathroom was a good size and had all the necessary amenities. The breakfast was delicious.

Felt very well looked after, nothing was too much trouble.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were amazing - very friendly and chatty. They provided a warm welcome and were completely on the ball with everything. The hotel facilities were excellent, including a comfortable lounge with a selection of games. We also loved the fact that they had a book at reception to leave descriptions of walking routes and expected return times. Additionally, the location was superb and the midweek price was really good.

The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring we got breakfast even when leaving early. The rooms were spacious and clean, with great amenities. The dining options were fantastic, both in the restaurant and bar. a brilliant way to experience a British country retreat.

Friendly staff, excellent service. Proper milk provided, warm room and good lighting. Hot water, okay shower. Excellent meal, tasty lamb, partner enjoyed moussaka. Right temperature for merlot. Helpful staff in bar, allowed us to choose whisky. Lovely location, professional staff, great value. Superb location, nice food, friendly staff, late check-in not a problem. Comfortable old world charm, helpful staff, nice breakfast and dinner service. Good bar meals and local ale. Would stay again if visiting.

Recently stayed at the New Dungeon Ghyll Hotel for a few nights and it was a fantastic experience. The location of the hotel in a lovely building with easy access to nearby walks was perfect. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional, going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The manager ensured everything was taken care of, even finding us a spot for dinner when we forgot to book. The room was spacious, the parking was free, and the barman was attentive despite the lack of staff. a great value for money and highly recommended.

Lovely ambiance, friendly/professional staff, beautiful views, relaxing bar/restaurant, amazing food. Exceptional staff went out of their way during a difficult time. Surprisingly warm room with welcoming staff and impressive public areas. Superb location, nice food, very friendly staff accommodated late check-in.
