The only downside was that the courtyard exit door was frequently used by smokers late at night, which could be distracting.

Just a solid selection for a budget stay in Edinburgh with outstanding value for money. We enjoyed lovely free parking outside the hotel during the weekend. Make sure to explore the quiet street, it's a nice break from busy areas.

This hotel is stunning! The old charm is beautifully restored, and our room was luxuriously spacious. Perfectly located for wandering, with amazing views at nearby Carlton Hill!

The restaurant was a bit pricey—could've fed a small army with that bill! And the noise from the dining area? Well, good thing I’m not a light sleeper!
