Lovely cottage, beautiful views, well-equipped kitchen, cozy atmosphere, friendly owner, great location, thoughtful touches

For us it was ideal.

I instantly felt welcome at this place. The owner was so friendly and helpful, even popping by on the morning we left to let us know about any travel advisories. The view of Holy Island was magnificent and the location was stunning with incredible views of the bay. The accommodations were lovely and very well equipped - I had everything I needed during my stay. The staff was pleasant and easy to deal with, even giving us a free room upgrade. The apartment was extremely well kept and decorated, and I even got some complimentary eggs from their chickens.

I would recommend this place to everyone.

The cottage was beautifully furnished with lovely little touches like wine and biscuits. The garden was amazing and peaceful with the relaxing sound of birds singing. The view of Holy Island was magnificent and we even saw seals during our drive. The owner, Theresa, was very helpful and responsive. The accommodation was family-oriented with great facilities including a tennis court. The farm had red squirrels in the garden and there was a scenic walk to Lamlash.

The cottage we stayed in was beautifully decorated and very cozy. It had all the amenities we needed, including kitchen equipment and entertainment options. We were thrilled to see the friendly cats and squirrels outside of our window, and the view of the surroundings was breathtaking. we loved how tranquil and peaceful it was. It was perfect for our romantic getaway.

While our stay in the wintertime was perfect, we felt that during the summer we would have liked to have a more immediate access to open-air seating or terrace. It would have been great to have a lounger in the garden to enjoy the sunny days.

stayed in lamlash before, but oakbank farm was a pleasant surprise. the cottage was perfect with thoughtful touches, beautiful garden, and a serene atmosphere. will definitely be back.

The property is a bit of a walk from the village, which may be inconvenient in unfavorable weather conditions.

We had a lovely Christmas break at a farm in Arran. The apartment had a modern interior and was well-equipped with a nice kitchen. The view from the apartment was amazing, especially the view of Holy Island. We also enjoyed the provided DVDs and games for entertainment. The location along the coast allowed for a nice walk to the bus stop or store, offering beautiful scenery.

That without a car, it took a while to walk to the bus stop or store. The walk was enjoyable due to the coastal views, but it could be inconvenient if you wanted a quicker option.
