We got great value for our money at this lovely hotel with its mix of modern and traditional decor. Our superior double room had a fantastic view and a surprising four-poster bed. The staff were friendly and treated us with professionalism and helpfulness. The location was peaceful, situated on a private road with breathtaking views of the bay.

The location of the Avellan Hotel was perfect for my road trips around Cornwall, and even if I didn't venture out, the hotel surroundings were magnificent enough to spend the entire holiday. The highlight of my day was having breakfast outdoors while enjoying the stunning sea view and the soothing sound of waves crashing.

It was also very close to the historic port of Charlestown and the sea, which made for a picturesque setting. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the desk lady went above and beyond to assist us.
