My partner and I recently stayed at Queenswood Hotel for a short getaway. Room 22 on the second floor provided the best sea view, with large windows facing the setting sun over Cardiff Bay. The breakfast was superb, cooked to order with locally-sourced bacon and delicious mushrooms. The guest lounge and bar were comfortable and quiet, perfect for relaxing. The location was in a quiet residential area, yet still within easy walking distance of the beach and town center. The proprietor was extremely attentive and friendly, dealing with any minor issues promptly. our stay exceeded expectations in terms of cleanliness, presentation, and personal touches.

the private little sitting room next to my bedroom was perfect for relaxing, and the view across to the beach was breathtaking. the blanket on the sofa was cozy, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. They even accommodated my request to extend my stay for an extra day, ensuring I had everything I needed in my room. the breakfast was excellent, and overall, it was a lovely hotel experience.

The owner is actively involved in making sure everything is satisfactory and provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are spotless and comfortable, with some even offering beautiful views and balconies. The bathrooms are clean and well-presented. The staff is friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to assist guests. The breakfast is excellent, with a variety of choices to satisfy every palate.

The parking can be a bit challenging due to limited space.

Noisy room.

The hotel was in a great location close to the beach and local shops. the breakfast was enjoyable, with plenty of options available. the staff were friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.

We found that the room could have been cleaner, there were stains on the carpets and the bathroom could have been fresher. the room was quite small and lacked sufficient storage space for our luggage.
