Stayed at this hotel recently and had an amazing experience! the room was super cozy with a fantastic super king-size bed that provided a great night's sleep. the bar downstairs had a lovely atmosphere, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring the town centre and nearby attractions like Melrose Abbey and Scott's View. the cooked breakfast was delicious, and there were plenty of options to choose from. They even offered a special diet menu and had pet-friendly amenities available. It was a truly comfortable and enjoyable stay that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

The only thing I would suggest for improvement would be to make sure that hairdryers are readily available in each room or clearly communicated where guests can request one. But this is just a minor detail that didn't impact the overall wonderful experience at this hotel.

The location was also convenient for exploring the local historical sites and Edinburgh is easily accessible by car.

The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home right away. The location was convenient, especially for those traveling on the A68 and looking for a convenient overnight stop. Another advantage was the delicious cooked breakfast, which provided a great start to our day.
