Nothing all good.

For the price we paid, the value we got was exceptional. The room was bright, airy, and had a fantastic shower. The hotel's location, right by the train station, made it very convenient. The staff at The Royal were friendly, warm, and hardworking. We felt well taken care of during our stay.

Breakfast delights could have been improved with more variety.

The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The room was comfortable and clean, providing a relaxing environment to unwind in. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and served piping hot. Despite a small issue with the noise from passing trains at night, my overall experience was great. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Carnforth.

We had a wonderful New Year's stay at a lovely hotel that was very close to a famous train station that was used in a classic movie from the 1940s. the atmosphere was great, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. We loved the fact that breakfast was included in our room rate, and it was delicious with a variety of options to choose from. the Sunday roast was also amazing and a good value for the price.

The dining room lacked a bit in atmosphere, and we felt that we would have enjoyed eating in the bar area more. There were no proper desks in the room which made it a little challenging to get some work done, and the room wasn't cleaned one day, which was a little disappointing.

Great hotel with comfortable rooms and excellent facilities. Easy parking nearby. Delicious food with a menu that offers more than just pub food. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautifully decorated rooms with unique themes. Two pubs on site, one for a calm atmosphere and one for music and dancing.

our christmas party at royal in carnforth was amazing! the owner, harry, gave us a tour and his passion for the future plans was inspiring. our room had lovely furniture, a comfy bed, and a powerful shower. can't wait to see the finished upgrades!

No windows, just a skylight.

The location was great, right next to the train station and easy to find. the room we stayed in was very clean and the shower room was new and spacious. It was convenient to have food shops nearby and we enjoyed a delicious meal at a pub called the Canal Turn. the breakfast made to order was also very good and the lady who served us was very nice.

The hotel felt old and the stairs were really creaky, which was a bit annoying. It was also quite expensive, maybe because of the location.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were polite and helpful, even transferring us to a more convenient room due to our knee and back problems. The breakfast was freshly cooked to order and delicious. The tapas bar provided a great evening meal experience with a lively atmosphere. The location was ideal for train travel, being within a short walk from the station. Additionally, there were plenty of local shops and attractions nearby, including Lancaster and the Lake District.

Can't fault the property in any way.

our short stay at royal was unexpectedly delightful, far surpassing our previous experience in carnforth. the charming attic room with a rooftop window provided a peaceful escape, while the rich history of the building added a touch of nostalgia. breakfast in the inspiring environment was an absolute treat.

Maintenance needed.

Renovations ongoing, but didn't bother us. New, tasteful room, comfy and clean. Loved the rooftop terrace and courtyard. Friendly, helpful staff. Perfect location for our trip. Enjoyed a great meal in the restaurant. Excellent, separate breakfast with fresh fruit and a quality full English.

This hotel is in a fantastic location, right next to a busy train station. The convenience of being able to hop off the train and be at the hotel in no time is unbeatable. The service here is top-notch, with friendly and helpful staff who go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The room I stayed in was spacious and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities such as a flat-screen TV, tea and coffee facilities, and a cozy sitting area. The restaurant on-site served delicious meals, and the breakfast was absolutely amazing. I loved the variety of options available and the quality of the food. my stay here was comfortable and enjoyable, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

It's perfect if you're traveling by train or need easy access to public transportation. The central location also makes it convenient for exploring the surrounding area. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with a modern shower room. The staff are friendly and helpful, providing excellent service. The breakfast is delicious, and there is a lovely outside terrace bar where you can enjoy a drink in the evening sun.

The hotel lacks a parking facility, but there is a station car park close by.

The breakfast offered a good range of options, including cereals, fruit, juice, and a tasty English breakfast. The room, although located in the attic with a bit of a chore to get to, was nicely furnished and comfortable. The bathroom was excellent, with a fantastic shower. The highlight of my stay was the Tapas restaurant with great food at a decent price. All the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. The hotel had a convenient location with a shop across the road and a restaurant bar out the back.
