As a solo traveler, I loved the welcoming staff, the spacious and clean room, comfortable bed, and the stunning sea view. The breakfast was fabulous and the location by the sea was lovely.

As those travelling by car, we loved the convenient parking on site. The hotel's history, architecture, and grandeur create a unique and charming atmosphere. The rooms with their high ceilings and tall bay windows offer stunning sea views. The bar and restaurant also provide a beautiful backdrop. The cleanliness and comfort of the beds, with crisp cotton sheets, ensure a pleasant stay.

We had a wonderful time at a charming hotel on the coast. The room we had on the top floor was clean and offered a beautiful sea view. The staff were extremely helpful and made our stay enjoyable. The dinner we had at the hotel was delicious, especially the perfectly cooked lamb. We also indulged in the Royal Tea, which was served with a delightful sea view. Despite a few outdated features, the hotel's classic Victorian style added to its charm. The breakfast in the comfortable dining room was tasty, and the staff, especially Terry, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The hotel's location right on the seafront was convenient, although parking was a challenge. we had a relaxing weekend close to the sea.

There was no available parking at the hotel, and we struggled to find pre-paid permits. We ended up with a parking penalty despite overpaying for parking.

It was within a short walking distance of the old town of Hastings, where you can explore charming shops and cafes. The view from my room, overlooking the excitingly storm-lashed English Channel, was a sight to behold. The hotel staff were attentive and provided excellent service throughout my stay. The basic amenities in the room, such as the comfortable bed and extra duvet, ensured a cozy and enjoyable stay. The breakfast, with delicious sausages, was a great way to start the day.

We had a pleasant city break stay and we enjoyed the breakfast. The bar and dining area were comfortable. We appreciated the option of a sea view or a room with privacy for the kids. The hotel offered enough toiletries and bedding. The staff was friendly and polite, especially the waiter on Thursday evening and the bar man.

We struggled with parking as there were only a few spaces and had to find street parking. The location was a little far from the town but still had a charming old town.

Great welcome from the receptionist, and the double room was huge with plenty of storage space and plug sockets. The bathroom was also spacious, which was a pleasant surprise. The buffet breakfast had a good variety, including a full English option. The piano bar had friendly staff and a lovely view of the sea. The stunning marble staircase added to the hotel's charm.

The hotel had a musty smell, although it wasn't overpowering. Parking was a bit of a problem, but I managed to find a space behind the hotel or there was a pay and display option nearby.
