We had an amazing stay at Wheatlands Lodge! The value for money was excellent, and our room was cozy and comfortable. The location was perfect - just a short walk to restaurants and the city center. The staff, especially Maz, were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home.

The food for breakfast could have had more variety.

As vegetarians, we appreciated the wide range of meat-free options on the limited menu. The breakfast was not only delicious but also had plenty of vegetarian and vegan choices. The staff were attentive and kind, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The hotel had a nice and relaxed atmosphere, perfect for a city break. the location was great, just a short walk away from the city center and with the convenience of a car park. - the complimentary tea and coffee on arrival was a lovely touch.

Parking at the back of the hotel was a bit awkward, requiring late arrivals to leave their car keys at reception. This could be inconvenient for some guests.

We stayed at Wheatlands Lodge for one night on our way home from Yorkshire. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, making us feel right at home. The location of the hotel is ideal, as it is within walking distance to the city center and the city wall walk. The cleanliness of the facilities was impeccable, and we opted for the 4 course evening meal, which was excellent value for money. The portion sizes were generous, and we couldn't finish it all. Breakfast, which was included in the room price, was also top-notch. Plus, the free parking was a much-appreciated bonus. Highly recommended.

The staff at this place were amazing, so friendly and helpful! They gave us maps and a tourist information booklet, making it easy for us to navigate around. the location was perfect, just a short 10-minute walk from the train station and close to all the main attractions. Another great thing was the delicious breakfast, it really set us up for the day!

The weak WiFi signal, it was only available in the lobby area. Other than that, everything was fantastic and we would definitely recommend it to our friends!

Stayed at Wheatlands Lodge for two nights for a baby shower. Comfortable room, gorgeous breakfast, clean and tidy. Responsive staff who arranged a mattress topper for the slightly uncomfortable mattress. Attentive, hardworking, and kind staff. Excellent service at reception and bar. Relaxing garden area. Free parking. Impressive building with a nice bar area. Best value for money hotel in the UK.

We had a lovely weekend stay at Wheatlands Lodge. The location was great, just a pleasant 10-minute walk to the shops and attractions. The breakfast room had a good variety, including a delicious full English and pastries for my daughter. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially the lady on reception who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The garden outside the hotel was a lovely place to relax, and the bar had a nice atmosphere and reasonable prices. we had a pleasant experience and would definitely book again.
