We had a wonderful stay at a hotel located just a short walk from the beach. The room we stayed in was well-furnished and comfortable, with a lovely en-suite bathroom. The staff were friendly and attentive, making our visit even more enjoyable. The breakfast provided plenty of choice and was delicious. The hotel is conveniently situated in the heart of the town, making it easy to explore and find shops like Adnams.

Loved the location of the hotel, it was in a great spot for exploring the town. The staff and owners were very friendly and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The food at the hotel was very good, and we particularly enjoyed the breakfast. The rooms were spacious and clean, and we loved the little extra touches like the well-stocked drinks trays with quality teas and coffee.

The menu could have had more options, especially for those with dietary restrictions. It would have been nice to have a bar area to relax in, instead of having to go out or stay in our rooms.

We had a comfortable stay in a top floor suite with great views of a local church. The hotel is centrally located, making it easy to walk to nearby pubs and restaurants. The hotel was noisy due to poor insulation, which resulted in being woken up early in the morning by other guests. The WiFi didn't work properly in the room, and there were not enough sockets for charging electronic devices.

At Sutherland House, we got excellent value for our money with beautifully furnished rooms and a comfortable settee in the lounge. The staff were incredibly friendly and the location, facing the quiet garden, was perfect.

Breakfast delights were limited, missing the creative cooked options and a variety of fresh fruits from our previous visit.
