We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location is fantastic, with lovely scenery and it's just off the motorway. The hotel itself is excellent, with cheery and helpful staff. We always got a good night's sleep in our lovely room, which overlooked a stream and hillside. The hotel facilities were great, with a large open fire in the bar area adding to the cozy atmosphere. The breakfast options were top-notch and reasonably priced. We also appreciated the hotel's support for local nature reserves through donations.

The large, comfortable bed ensured a good night's sleep, and the hotel was very clean. The breakfast was fantastic, and the Tebay area is a wonderful oasis. I would highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The hotel offered excellent locally sourced food in their on-site restaurant, which was a great way to support local businesses. the breakfast was particularly delicious, with tasty marmalade and raspberry jam. the comfortable room provided a lovely view of the surrounding area, and the staff was attentive and helpful.

Being surprised by the £10 charge per dog, which was not communicated beforehand. the location at the back of a service station might give the impression of a motel, but the hotel managed to create a welcoming rural retreat.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! The location was perfect, being very close to the motorway. It was such a relief to find a hotel that allowed dogs and had good quality food at the bar. Our room was spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was clean and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making us feel very welcome. Breakfast was superb, with a wide variety of options to choose from. We also enjoyed spending time in the spacious bar/lounge area, especially beside the cozy log fire.

During my stay, I experienced a slight inconvenience with the door closures in the hotel. The lack of a soft closure system resulted in loud noises, which disturbed my sleep.

The food was one of the best we've ever had! the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room was spacious and clean. We loved the stunning views from the hotel, especially during breakfast, and the fact that there was free Wi-Fi available was a plus. the location was also great, with easy access to nearby attractions and scenic routes.

We would have liked a shower cubicle instead of the bathtub, which made it difficult for older people to climb in and out of. the water temperature in the shower was a bit too hot, and we had trouble adjusting it.

Waking up to such a view was a true delight. Additionally, the location just off the motorway made it convenient for travelers like me to access and provided a peaceful atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle.

I had a memorable stay at a welcoming hotel that offered stunning views and a calm and open atmosphere. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my well-being, from the early morning towel change to reassuring me that I didn't need a doctor. The young fellow even helped load my car and saw us off on our journey. The cleanliness and comfort of the rooms were exceptional, and the bar area served delicious snacks showcasing local produce. Although the breakfast could be improved with sharper knives or made-to-order service, the overall experience was fantastic. I highly recommend this hotel and its friendly staff. I'll definitely be visiting again.
