The breakfast was excellent, with a good variety to choose from. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the hotel facilities were great. The location was perfect, near Beaulieu and Brockenhurst Parkrun, and there was a gorgeous Italian restaurant just across the road. Additionally, the cleanliness of the hotel was exceptional.

I recently stayed at a charming hotel in a quiet location in the heart of the New Forest. The staff were friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The breakfast spread was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. I especially enjoyed the gin tasting experience, which added a fun twist to the evening. The other guests were also lovely to chat with, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere. Despite a minor issue with the internet in my room, I found the accessibility to the local area and easy parking to be convenient. I had a delightful stay at this true hidden gem.

The location of the hotel is incredibly convenient, being very close to the train station. The staff team is amazing and provides fantastic service. The breakfast is top-notch, with particularly delicious poached eggs. The rooms are spacious and full of character, maintaining an old-fashioned feel. The hotel also offers special touches like a doggie box for furry friends.

The value for money at Thatched Cottage was excellent. The room was beautiful and the bed was incredibly comfortable, giving us a great night's sleep. The location was perfect, with helpful staff providing maps and advice on walks and attractions in the New Forest. The gin bar was a fantastic addition with a wide selection to choose from.

The breakfast option could be improved with the addition of a fridge and microwave. It would be great to enjoy a chilled glass of wine on the lovely patio while reheating a takeaway.

We stayed at the Thatch Cottage for 3 nights and had a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Our room was lovely, and the bed was one of the best we have ever slept in. Plus, there was no traffic noise to disturb our sleep. The bathroom was modern and had good fittings. The highlight, however, was the delicious breakfast with a wide range of choices, cooked perfectly each time.

As someone with physical handicaps, I really appreciated the accessible facilities at this hotel. The downstairs room with a fire exit door made it easy for me to navigate, especially with my small dog. The location of the hotel in the center of Brockenhurst was also ideal for dining out and exploring the area. The breakfast provided was delicious, and I enjoyed the afternoon tea served as well. The range of gins at the gin bar was impressive, and the garden area was a lovely spot for al fresco dining. the hotel provided good service and met my expectations for a small, stylish and modern cottage hotel.

The breakfasts were absolutely delicious, with plenty of options including a really satisfying full English. We also loved the afternoon teas which were a relaxing way to spend time in the garden. The location was great, with plenty of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance.

The curtains in our room were a bit thin which meant that light from outside woke us up a few times. , we felt that the bed was a bit small for our liking, so if you’re used to a larger size, it might be worth checking in advance.

This hotel offers great value for money, with reasonable prices and attention to detail. The location is perfect, situated right in the centre of Brockenhurst within walking distance of the village centre. The hotel is surrounded by lovely shaded gardens, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are well equipped with comfortable beds, and some even have a terrace, allowing guests to enjoy the beautiful garden views.

The location of this hotel is excellent with restaurants within walking distance and the rest of the New Forest easily accessible by car due to the quite centralised location. The rooms are nicely decorated, well equipped, with really comfy twin beds, and tea and coffee making facilities. The breakfast was scrumptious, a real credit to the chef.

All was great, just a minor suggestion for a log burner and more atmosphere.

I had a fantastic experience at the Thatched Cottage. The staff were incredibly friendly, and it was a nice touch to be personally greeted by the Managing Director. The room was clean and cozy, and I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast options. The location was perfect for exploring the New Forest and enjoying local pubs and restaurants. I would highly recommend this hotel to couples looking for a getaway.

The hotel is ideally located in the heart of the beautiful New Forest, making it the perfect base to explore the stunning golden Autumn colours. The rooms offer a small outside sitting area, allowing guests to soak in the picturesque surroundings. The attentive staff provide excellent service and the delicious breakfast sets you up for a day of adventures. The charming cottage-style rooms are beautifully presented and spotlessly clean.

One slight negative is that there have been reports of the owner making incorrect calls regarding settling bar bills, which could be concerning for some guests.
