I recently stayed in a charming inn in the countryside, conveniently located near major motorways. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed, including a spotlessly clean bathroom. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making me feel at home. The breakfast was outstanding, providing a wide range of delicious options. The inn was situated in a quiet village, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Nearby, I discovered alternative places to visit for dinner.

Finding a parking space upon arrival was a slight challenge.

We had a fantastic time at The Bay Horse. From the warm welcome to the clean rooms and delicious meals, everything was top-notch. The kitchen team provided exceptional food and service, and the quiz night with the locals was a highlight. The location is perfect, just off the A1 and close to Ripon. This hidden gem is a great find for any traveler. The hospitality was exceptional, with the owners going above and beyond to accommodate our needs. The vegan options were amazing! We couldn't recommend this hotel more.

The location of the hotel was ideal for us, as it was close to the motorway network. We were able to explore the picturesque village and the surrounding area easily. Our room was clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. The breakfast was excellent, with a variety of options to choose from. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing first-class service. We also enjoyed the lovely garden for drinks outside.

The decor in the room felt slightly dated, but this was clearly mentioned when we booked.
