Great lunch deal, with delicious cheese soufflé and duck salad starters. The mains, such as chicken with dauphinoise potatoes or confit duck leg with red cabbage, were so tasty. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and there was a choice between the bar area and the restaurant.

Noisy bar music that could be heard in the room until late at night. There was no hot water in the shower due to a power issue.

The hotel's location was fantastic, being right in the centre of town, it provided easy access to a variety of eateries and local attractions. Additionally, the hotel was conveniently close to both the racecourse and the castle, where we attended a local festival. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived.

The rooms could benefit from some updating, but this did not greatly affect our overall experience.

The Beaufort Hotel in Chepstow is in a fantastic location, right in the center of town. It's convenient for exploring and seeing the sights, especially Chepstow Castle. I recently stayed at The Beaufort Hotel for a short last-minute trip with my dog and bicycle. The staff were very accommodating and friendly, allowing me to eat in the pub area with my dog. The location is excellent, right in the middle of town with a pedestrian precinct outside the door. The room, although basic, was clean and comfortable, with the added bonus of blackout blinds for a good night's sleep. The breakfast was delicious, with high-quality ingredients used for a tasty full English.

stayed in chepstow before, but beaufort was a pleasant surprise. loved the historic vibe, friendly staff, and buzzing bar. felt like home away from home.
