The venue, village, and pub/hotel were all excellent. Beautiful setting, friendly and helpful staff, clean room, and excellent breakfast.

The setting of the hotel was absolutely stunning, surrounded by beautiful countryside scenery. The staff were friendly and attentive, providing excellent service throughout our stay. The food served at the hotel was absolutely delicious, with a wide range of options to choose from. The rooms were comfortable and well-decorated, each with its own unique style. The hot water supply was consistent and plentiful, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. the hotel had every amenity we needed, making our stay convenient and hassle-free.

That the bed in our room was a little small, which may not be suitable for larger guests. Another issue was that our room was located above the pub entrance, which made it quite noisy during taxi pick-up times.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at The Black Swan. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. We loved that they allowed us to bring our dog and even provided treats in our room. The room itself was spacious and spotlessly clean, with a modern and well-equipped bathroom. The food at the restaurant was consistently excellent, both for dinner and breakfast. The cozy atmosphere of the inn and the beautiful surroundings made our stay truly relaxing. We can't wait to return!

Enjoyed stay with great hosts. Rooms clean, well-furnished with all amenities. Perfectly located near top tourist attractions. Loved the homemade jams and chutneys at breakfast.

Impressive building in a lovely village with a picturesque beer garden and glamping tepees. Warm welcome and simple check-in process.- Compact but beautifully appointed en-suite room with spacious bathroom and good quality toiletries.- Amenities in the room were excellent with ample tea, coffee, and hot chocolate available, along with fresh milk.- Superb food prepared with locally sourced ingredients, accompanied by an excellent selection of wines.- Memorable meal and hearty breakfast served.

Room selection did not meet our mobility needs, despite our specific request for level access. Upgraded room had 6 outdoor steps with a broken bottom step and no functioning handrail.

Mattress was too firm.

We absolutely love staying at The Black Swan! This was our 4th or 5th visit, and once again, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They even accommodated our dog, serving us breakfast in the bar area so he could join us. The breakfast buffet was well-stocked and the cooked breakfast was delicious. The food was beautifully presented and had all the special touches that make a meal memorable. A special shoutout to the staff for their flexibility and treating our furry friend to his own sausage at breakfast!

The breakfast spread was extensive, with plenty of options including cereals, fresh fruit, homemade compotes, yoghurts, and baked goods. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making us feel welcome throughout our stay.
