Rooms are cosy and comfortable, and the location is perfect. Staff are extremely helpful and the food in the pub is amazing. The beer garden with a canal running through is a bonus too!

The Boat Inn Hayton was incredible value for money and had everything I needed. The location was perfect, with a beautiful canal and a 12th Century church nearby. The staff were friendly and always had a smile on their face. The food in the restaurant was amazing, especially the perfectly cooked steak. Highly recommended for couples and walkers!

Menu for breakfast could have been better, but overall it was a wonderful stay.

I recently stayed at a lovely pub located alongside a peaceful canal. The Boat Inn Hayton had a large garden where I could enjoy a drink or stroll along the canal with my dog. The food was of great quality, especially the delicious dessert. The clean and tidy room provided a comfortable stay, with convenient parking nearby. The bar staff were extremely friendly and helpful, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I particularly enjoyed chatting with the locals while enjoying a drink. I would definitely return to this pub for its beautiful location, good food, and friendly staff.

I recently had a wonderful stay at Boat Inn Hayton in Retford. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, making it hard to leave. The cleanliness was top-notch, and the location couldn't have been better. The staff were incredibly helpful, and though I didn't try the food, the menu looked amazing. The atmosphere in the pub was great, and the pretty beer garden with the canal added to the charm of the place. I will definitely be returning!

Beautiful setting on a quiet canal. Recently refurbished with tasteful decor. Warm, welcoming fire. Excellent service from friendly staff. Clean, well-equipped rooms. Good value.

We absolutely love staying at this place! The rooms are so cosy and comfortable, we never want to leave. We've stayed here multiple times because we can't get enough of it. The cleanliness is top-notch, and the location is perfect. All of the staff members have been incredibly helpful. While we haven't tried the food yet, the menu looks amazing, and the pub itself has a great atmosphere. The bonus of a pretty beer garden with a canal running through it is an added delight. We'll definitely be returning again!
