The room itself was well-furnished and cozy, with a really comfy bed that provided us with a great night's sleep. We were also delighted to find tea and coffee facilities, a television, and a telephone in the room, adding to our convenience. The dining experience at the on-site restaurant was exceptional, with delicious bar food and a fantastic breakfast that left us feeling satisfied and content. The staff here truly made us feel welcomed and taken care of, enhancing our overall experience. Additionally, the free Wi-Fi in public areas was a bonus, allowing us to stay connected during our stay.

I had a wonderful stay in the countryside, surrounded by beautiful rolling hills. The room in the converted skittle alley was spacious and beautifully furnished. The breakfast was lovely, cooked fresh to order, and the service was attentive. I also enjoyed dining in the restaurant for the evening, where the food was delicious. The pub had a great atmosphere, and I spent enjoyable evenings there on all three nights.

The duck dish I had one evening was overcooked and tough.

the combination of the old-age charm of the building and modern comforts was delightful. Our room was not only pretty but also very comfortable. the highlight was the unusual square plunge bath, which was exceptionally deep and had a refreshing "rain" shower overhead. the food in the restaurant was delicious, and the bed provided a restful night's sleep. the location, though deep in the countryside, added to the overall charm.
