The bar and dining room decor, although a mix of old-fashioned and modern, did have some cheap, chainstore elements that slightly detracted from the otherwise elegant atmosphere.

We also enjoyed the beautiful garden area where we could relax and enjoy the scenery. this hotel exceeded our expectations in every way and we can't wait to go back for another stay.

Heating was a bit out of control.

Upon arrival at the Brantwood, I was greeted warmly and promptly shown to my room. The room itself was spacious and had a large en-suite bathroom with a nice, relaxing bath. The hotel is conveniently located near the M6, making it easy to find.

Although there were some maintenance issues, such as a cracked window pane in my room and a light fitting that fell in the bathroom, overall the hotel was pleasant. The charming village location and lovely countryside surroundings added to the appeal.

Lovely country hotel located in a peaceful village close to a popular lake. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. The room was clean, cosy and comfortable, with a well-appointed bathroom. We appreciated the great range of specialty gin and tonics on offer at the bar.

There were a few minor issues with the room such as a TV remote that didn't work and a morning power outage that affected our stay. It would have been helpful if the staff had advised us beforehand.

The personal service at the hotel was excellent and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant served delicious food with a wide selection of reasonably priced dishes. The atmosphere in the restaurant was welcoming and the real ale was a bonus. The hotel itself is a beautiful graded building surrounded by peaceful grounds and a beer garden. The ample free parking was also a plus.
