We had a great experience at The Briar Rose during our recent stay. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city and close to everything we wanted to see. The pub element was fantastic, with a friendly atmosphere and delicious food. The housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring our room was clean and comfortable. The tea and coffee supplies were replenished daily, and the beds were amazingly comfortable. For the value for money, this hotel was an excellent find. I would highly recommend this hotel for a convenient and enjoyable stay.

I stayed at Briar Rose for one night during my visit to Birmingham. The hotel's central location next to the train station was incredibly convenient. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The room was comfortable and worth the price. I slept well on the cozy beds and appreciated the cleanliness. The provided amenities, such as bottled water, tea, coffee, and cookies, were a nice touch. Despite being in a busy area, the room was surprisingly quiet.

The room at Briar Rose was lovely, clean, and spacious. The powerful shower was a brilliant touch, and the non-dairy milk provided was a pleasant surprise. The staff, especially David on reception, were friendly and helpful. The location is superb, with shopping centers, the train station, and the Jewellery quarter within walking distance. Despite being in a busy area, the room was quiet and the window could be opened for fresh air. I highly recommend this hotel for its value, cleanliness, and convenient location.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The twin room we stayed in was spacious and the beds were very comfy. The hotel had a beautiful decor throughout and it was well-situated, being within walking distance to The Bullring shopping area. The hotel also offers great facilities such as a friendly and helpful staff, who provided us with excellent recommendations for dining out and sightseeing. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located near transportation hubs, making it easy to explore the city.

Great location near shops, bars, and restaurants. Rooms are spacious and have everything you need, including iron, ironing board, and hair dryer. Staff are friendly and helpful. Affordable breakfast and delicious food in the adjacent bar. Secure entrance with key card.

Comfortable bed, clean room and facilities. Pleasant reception staff. Nice choice for breakfast and reasonably priced. Good location in the centre of town. Helpful staff and easy access. Walk-in shower, chair, heated towel rail, iron and board, hair dryer.

The hotel is conveniently located in the city center, making it easy to get around. I was pleasantly surprised with the option to take food from the pub upstairs to my room, which made my stay more enjoyable. The reception staff were helpful and accommodating, allowing me to drop off my luggage before check-in and leave it after check-out. I would recommend this hotel.

Stayed here for the T20 cricket finals at Edgbaston, perfect walking distance to the stadium. Clean and comfortable room with fresh towels and tea/coffee provided. Wetherspoons pub downstairs was busy but friendly, great for cheap meals. Convenient location in the city centre near Bullring shopping centre, high street, and nightlife. Super comfortable beds with blackout curtains for a great sleep. Helpful staff allowed us to take food from the pub to our room. Excellent communication before our stay regarding car parking.

Staff went above and beyond, even getting us toilet roll and helping with a late order. Luggage was kept safe and a taxi called for us. Room had a radiator and towel rail, both drying our clothes nicely. Double glazing blocked out most noise. Close to Tesco for cheap water.

Incredibly central location for all of Birmingham's attractions, great value for money, and attentive staff who made me feel welcome. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed, a fan provided, all basic amenities, and even free water. The breakfast had refillable hot drinks and a vegetarian option included.

The location of the hotel was excellent, with easy access to public transportation and attractions. I also found the hotel to be clean and well maintained, which made my stay even more enjoyable.

While staying at the hotel, I encountered a minor issue with the heating in my room. Despite the cold weather outside, the room was quite chilly.

We had a great weekend in a large, comfortable room with complementary coffee and tea. The location was fantastic, perfectly situated between two major streets and close to a variety of good restaurants and bars. The staff, particularly the night reception, was very helpful in providing a fan to cool the room down.

The room was a little warm and the bed was rather firm. The broken tap in the sink made things a bit difficult and the noisy glass bottle collection in the alley was annoying at night.
