We had an excellent stay at The Clachan B&B as we toured the NC 500. The twin room was much bigger than expected, located at the back of the property for a quiet stay. The spacious bathroom was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast was cooked to order and served in a cozy front room. They recommended the Queens Hotel for dinner, which was excellent as well. The hosts, Graeme & Lydia, were amazing and it was lovely chatting with them. The added bonus was their friendly dog, Oscar. The central location made it perfect, with shops, bars, the harbor, and Pulteney distillery nearby. Highly recommend staying here, it was perfect!

The Clachan B&B is a wonderful place to stay in Wick. The owner, Lydia, was incredibly professional and informative, providing us with helpful information about the local area. The location of the B&B, near a big superstore, was convenient for all the attractions we wanted to visit. Our room was cozy and clean, with lovely tartan carpet. The food made by the host's wife was freshly made and absolutely delicious. the price and quality of our stay at The Clachan were excellent. If we ever find ourselves in the area again, we would not hesitate to book there once more.

The view from the room overlooked the cemetery and street, providing a unique perspective.

I did experience some difficulty with the shower, as it took a while to figure out how to adjust the temperature. The electric shower would often fluctuate between extremes of hot and cold, requiring me to constantly make adjustments to find a comfortable temperature.
