We loved the old-fashioned ambience and the warm and welcoming staff. The Connaught is now my wife's favorite hotel. The Helene Darroze restaurant provided us with an exceptional dinner experience. The hotel went out of their way to make our stay special, giving us treats and complimentary items for my wife's birthday. They even reserved areas in the hotel bars for hotel guests, which was a nice touch.

The staff was smart, professional, and efficient. Room service was excellently presented.

The bed and pool are wonderful. Room service after my son's wedding was lovely. Old world charm and opening the bedroom window is a plus. The area is nice to walk around with local pubs and coffee shops.

Don't miss the outstanding food and relaxed atmosphere at Espelette. The location, cleanliness, and decoration are all fantastic. The service is top-notch, and they even sent a cake for my wife's birthday. To top it off, we saw a celebrity upon arrival.
