The nice room and bathroom accessories added to the charm, and the outdoor eating area was a great spot. Double Red Duke, Cotswolds is a gem.

The hotel had a cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. the highlight was the gin pantry, which allowed guests to choose their own gin and enjoy it by a lovely fire. the hotel provided an excellent vegan meal, with a delicious 3-course dinner and vegan breakfast. the service was superb and attentive.

The room we stayed in was dated and tired with gaps in the windows and some marks on the sheets. There were no shelves in the bathroom or full-length mirrors in the bedroom, making it difficult to see while drying hair.
