Staying at the hotel in Exford was truly delightful. the charming atmosphere of the cozy rooms with wood burners and the enchanting items for sale around the hotel created a unique experience. the delicious meals in the restaurant and pub, along with the friendly staff, made our stay memorable. the only improvement could be more consistent room upkeep during multi-night stays.

I had an amazing stay at a charming village hotel. The food was exquisite, especially the Exmoor pie and sticky toffee pudding. The friendly staff and cozy pub atmosphere made me feel right at home. I highly recommend this hotel.

Had a great Christmas stay at this country hotel! Loved the warm and cozy ambiance, perfect for the holiday season. the traditional decorations added a festive touch, making it feel like home. the staff were friendly and welcoming, making our stay enjoyable. the location was ideal, nestled in the heart of the countryside with beautiful surroundings. the highlight for us was the delicious food, especially the Christmas dinner. the menu had a good variety of options, catering to different dietary needs. the atmosphere, location, and food made our Christmas experience memorable.

the Wi-Fi was quite unreliable, with constant dropouts throughout the hotel. Another downside was that the room we stayed in was facing the main road, resulting in a lot of traffic noise at night.

The hotel was locked up early in the morning, making it difficult for pet owners to access the outdoors. the room was noisy, especially being located above the bar, and could use some soundproofing.

The room we stayed in was a bit noisy, especially in the evenings. the pillows provided were made of foam, which we didn't find comfortable.
