Clean and comfortable rooms in a converted farm building. Excellent vegan options in the restaurant. Beautiful old characterful pub with friendly staff. Good value for money. Will definitely return.

We loved the close proximity to Thetford Forest, a favorite spot for our kids. The TV and comfy lounge, along with a great selection of DVDs, made for a relaxing evening. The garden area was also lovely. The cleanliness of the bed linen and towels was exceptional. It was wonderful to be able to tuck the kids in bed and unwind downstairs, something we can't do in a hotel. Lastly, the dining table was a nice and spacious addition.

We booked a family room but were pleasantly surprised to be given a 4-bedroom house with a dining and living room, kitchen, and utility room. The extra space was absolutely brilliant and made our stay even more comfortable. The food in the restaurant was great and the locals in the bar were friendly. The staff provided excellent hospitality and went out of their way to make sure we were well taken care of. They even provided us with a packed lunch and arranged a taxi for us. The hotel truly exceeded our expectations and we would recommend it to anyone.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Thetford Forest and it was such a great find! the prices were very reasonable for what was offered. The attention to detail in the rooms was impressive, with a fairly large bathroom that had a good-sized shower. The double bed was comfortable, and there was even an armchair for added comfort. The breakfast served was fantastic, with a variety of options including very tasty local sausages. The location of the hotel was also a plus, nestled in the charming village. this hotel exceeded my expectations and I would definitely stay here again if I'm in the area.

While there were a few minor issues, overall everything was ok.

We were pleasantly surprised by the variety of room options at Crown. We opted for a spacious 3-bedroom house with multiple TVs and a well-equipped kitchen. The breakfast was fantastic and the price per night was very reasonable, especially considering we could bring our dogs along for just £10 extra!

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly. the bar meals were well-presented and good value for money. the breakfast was delicious, with a hearty English breakfast option and plenty of alternatives. the atmosphere in the bar was great, with friendly locals. the location was perfect for what we needed, and the hotel was responsive to our requests.

The car park was a bit far from the hotel, which could be inconvenient for elderly or less fit guests. There was also an issue with parking, as a local resident parked their large Range Rover in a way that made it difficult to access the car park.

The New Year's Eve menu was excellent, with fresh, high-quality ingredients and attentive service. the room was clean and adequately equipped with the necessary amenities, such as a comfortable bed and a decent TV. the location was peaceful, with nearby sights just a short drive away.

The bathroom was too small, making it difficult to move around and carry out our daily routine. the heating system in our room was uncontrollable, making it unbearable during the night.

The value for money at The Crown was excellent - we got a spacious family room with an extra bedroom and toilet for our daughter. The location in the pretty village was perfect and the staff were super friendly and accommodating.

The breakfast selection could have been better - maybe adding a few more options would have made it even more enjoyable.

Courtyard for self catering, no crockery or cutlery, good food, must book ahead, friendly staff.

The location of this hotel is perfect for anyone participating in a National Cross Country event in Thetford Forest. It is also conveniently close to other restaurants and bars, as well as being just a short drive away from Wells-Next-the-Sea beach. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with blackout curtains ensuring a good night's sleep. The breakfast is delicious and the staff provide friendly and helpful service. there is a lovely garden area where you can relax and unwind.

The noise levels from other guests can sometimes be a bit disruptive.
