Whisky selection blew me away. highly recommend.

Ja, the breakfast spread was just next level! I mean, 600 whiskys in the snug room, that’s a dream for anyone who enjoys a dop! Staff were super friendly and keen to help. Spent some lekker evenings mixing with other guests, exchanging stories over whisky – what a jol!

Only thing that was a bit of a bummer was the coffee. could’ve been better to match the rest of the amazing stay.

Dinner in the library was memorable and cozy.

Street access can be a real challenge!!! Prepare for a steep walk from town!!! Limited parking complicates luggage handling!!! The coffee quality definitely falls short of what’s expected!!! I can’t understand the restrictive control of room temperature!!!

Whisky bar selection was impressive and extensive.

We had a fantastic 2-night stay at The Dowans Hotel. The Club Room was modern and beautifully decorated, complete with a giant bed and stunning views over the River Spey. The food was out of this world, especially the breakfast options that included delicious salmon and haggis. The whisky bar had an impressive selection, and the staff were eager to help us discover new favorites. A hidden gem is the lovely little waterfall just a short walk away. It felt like home away from home!

I spent two nights recently in a charming place that had a great whisky bar. The staff helped with our luggage upon arrival without any hesitation. I found a pretty little waterfall near the property which added to my enjoyment of the stay. The local food was nice, with fresh ingredients used. I appreciated the ambience, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring. I recommend it for anyone wanting to experience the area.

Chur, the whisky selection was sweet as, but my room was smaller than I expected, and the bed was a bit uncomfortable. Still, the food was top-notch!

We had an amazing two-night stay at this lovely hotel, enjoying the cozy ambience and a fantastic whisky selection in the bar. The sun terrace was perfect for relaxing with a drink after a long day, and we loved the beautiful garden area too. Only downside was our room was a tad smaller than we'd imagined, but it didn't take away from our overall experience! 😊

I stayed in a room that was cozy but definitely on the smaller side. The bed was super firm, which wasn’t the best for my back. The pillows were thick and foam-filled, not my fave, so I rolled up a towel instead. The window was tiny and opened to a busy street, so I got a lot of noise. The decor was nice though, and the bathroom had heated tile floors, which was a plus. Next time, I’d pick a different room for more space.
