I had the pleasure of staying at a charming hotel nestled in beautiful grounds. The location was fantastic, with a lovely courtyard where I could relax and enjoy the sunshine. The room I stayed in was spacious and tastefully decorated, and the bathroom had a luxurious shower. The staff provided excellent service, and the breakfast was delicious with a variety of options to choose from. The view from the conservatory overlooking the garden was breathtaking, with majestic old oak trees adding to the ambiance. It was a truly delightful experience.

I did find that the wallpaper in my room had some water stains, which was a minor drawback.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The grounds were absolutely stunning and the gothic architecture added a unique charm to the place. The interior of the hotel exuded the proper English County House vibe that I was looking for. I particularly loved the historical background of this place, including the fact that an oak tree planted by Elizabeth I in 1591 still stands in the grounds. The location was perfect, nestled in a tranquil setting and offering beautiful walks. It truly felt like a fairy tale getaway.

For us, the room did not live up to our expectations. Unfortunately, there was no main light in the room, and it had a newly decorated part that didn't quite match the overall style of the hotel.

The conservatory at this hotel is truly exceptional. With the sun shining through the windows, it creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. The conservatory is always clean and tidy, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy a cup of tea. The location of the tables near the plug end is a thoughtful touch, allowing guests to easily charge their devices while enjoying the beautiful surroundings. The food options are also impressive, with a variety of delicious dishes to choose from.

The staff at this hotel were not up to par. There were serious breakdowns in communication, leading to numerous mistakes during dinner and breakfast.

Additionally, the grounds surrounding the hotel are breathtakingly beautiful, with manicured gardens and a picturesque country park. This place is truly a hidden gem.

The service provided, including room service and housekeeping, was top-notch. The room amenities were excellent, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The restaurant offered a delicious breakfast and dinner, and the bar/lounge area was a great place to unwind. I had a fantastic experience at this venue.
