Returned for 3 nights after staying overnight at the beginning of July. Still the same high standards, good food and ales. The staff are the best, nothing is too much trouble and they are always friendly and welcoming. Rooms lovely and clean and a good size. The views from the hotel are spectacular and the surrounding area is beautiful. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed one night en route to a wedding and the location was great. The regulars made us feel very welcome. The home cooked food was excellent and reasonably priced. The rooms were clean, beautiful, and well-maintained. The beds were comfortable, providing a quiet and cozy night's sleep. The staff were attentive and pleasant, and the overall decor was lovely and fresh.
